The History of ROC Solid Investments
ROC Solid was really born when Owen & Staci came back from the mission field in Mexico. Owen got a job as a property manager in the Twin Cities, MN and that is when his eyes were opened to the world of real estate. This is when he began learning to invest in real estate. He went on to manage over 150+ units, get his realtors license, partner with others to do rehabs and began to acquire his own rental portfolio. After a bumpy road in 2008, ROC Solid was re-started in 2019, this time focusing on the Milwaukee, WI market as well as some other local rentals and rehab projects, building the rental portfolio up to 16 units.
The Story Behind Our Name
ROC Solid gets its name from Owen's grandpa's initials, Robert Owen Cooper. He was a carpenter and a lover of people his whole life and we wanted to honor his legacy through the business name. It is our desire to run our business with the same integrity, quality work, can-do attitude and putting people first like "Grandpa Bob" did. ROC also stands for Resting On Christ. We desire our business to be established on the foundation of Jesus Christ, to be run in such a way that honors Him. As a business strategy, we look for opportunities to add value where we can make tenant's lives better with a quality place to live, which makes the neighborhood and community stronger as well.

Now, ROC Solid is transitioning the focus into bigger multi-family properties. We are going to utilize our past experience in acquisitions, value-add opportunities, project management, property management, and investor relations to take our business to the next level, and we invite you to join us in the ride!
The Vision of ROC Solid Investments
Our end goal is to create an apartment community that is truly a community -a place that people can be proud to live in. Our value-add opportunities will be for both the property and the tenant. We plan to offer practical services as well as opportunities for people to grow in their faith in Jesus and we will strive to foster a sense of family among the residents. We will also offer tenants the chance to be a part of a rent-to-own program, so they have a path to home ownership. In all we do, we seek to glorify God and better people's lives.
ROC Solid Foundation
Our real estate investment group has future plans to establish a scholarship fund for current and past tenants so that they or their children can have a way to pursue educational opportunities to get better paying jobs. We want to couple that with a lease-option track for those tenants desiring to work towards owning their own home. These are some of the ways that we look forward to giving everyone involved in our company a better life- from tenant to investor.
